When Steve finally connected with me on Facebook, I asked him if he wanted to send me a bio or something to put on this website to account for the past 50 years. He said he would send me his memoir. I laughed out loud. I thought he was “poking fun” like he used to do for a laugh when we were in high school.

Steve. Sent me. His memoir.

I am sure we all have our own memories of Steve when we were kids in Princeton. The most memorable for me was an innocent camping-out excursion.

I started reading the Preface. Then I moved on to the Prologue. Well into Chapter One. Damn. I’m in too deep.

Steve wrote a line that I think will resonate with each of us. “Some of us need to deal with who we were so we can discover who we are.”

I chuckled and had to smile when I read, “I’ve hung out on the front porch lately, where I used to wait for friends or see hot girls passing to and from Boulder Park.” He continues on to educate all of us of Princeton natives nationally (and internationally) known notables in their chosen profession. I am anxious to continue in my reading.

Once Steve sent me his Memoir and I started reading it, I wondered if he sent it for my eyes only of if it was intended for a wider audience.

I sent him an email asking, “If you would like, I can create a PDF of this so everyone can download it and read it. Let me know if that is okay.”

Steve responded, “All is good with me. Luv u bro. Thanks for your kind and encouraging words Ger!”

Enjoy!
